1. What is the name of your business and can you tell us a little bit more about it?
My main focus right now is BYOB (aka Build Your Brand Courses) you have a pet name for your business, right?! We equip women with the mastery and support to build a wildly successful brand online. Our 8 week program is for female founders that are ready to roll up their sleeves and create an irresistibly stunning aesthetic, learn how to grow their following, market online...and make REAL monaaaay. We also offer super custom brand identity development and online marketing implementation for companies with big budgets!
I am committed to my mission of supporting and empowering women with every microfiber of my being. This mission begins with my branding and marketing course which provides female founders with the tools to grow their business, continues with my online community and publication "She's All Heart" which tells stories of wholesome, resilient women, and will continue through the development of an organization that will provide micro-loans to women in developing countries so they can build a sustainable business of their own.
2. What has been your biggest win as an entrepreneur thus far?
I started my business with $500 in my bank account and a full time employee...so surviving that was a gosh-darn miracle! I don't think about wins as greatest achievements but rather resilience during the most trying lows. For me, that meant blood sweat and tears working my butt off for a year and then losing everything and having to start over. All I wanted to do in that moment was give up, instead I dug deep and found the very last ounce of resilience I had...that is my greatest win.
3. Where do you find daily motivation and inspiration?
From the women in my community that are giving it their ALL, their stories of resilience...AND coffee.
4. What is the best piece of advice you have received and who was it from?
My great grandma, who was also one of my best friends, was a funky dressing, world-traveling, modern woman that made friends anywhere she went. She used to always say "a stranger is just a best friend you haven't met yet". She was contagiously inspiring, lit up every room and always showed up with an open heart and mind.
5. What is your morning routine?
Wake up, smother my dog with love, drink celery juice and slay the day! I'm also a huge fun of paper to-do lists (despite my very thorough google calendaring and project management systems...there's nothing like the feeling of pen to paper crossing something off the list!)
6. What is your favorite podcast?
Oprah's Super Soul Conversations, all the way!
7. Something that most people wouldn’t know about you:
I have travelled to 40+ countries and climbed one of the world's largest summits!
8. If you could go back to when you started your company what would you say to yourself?
Fasten your seatbelt baby, it's gunna be a wild ride!
