1. What is the name of your business and can you tell us a little bit more about it?

Jenny the Nutritionist.  I am an licensed nutritionist who help active females reach their aesthetic and performance goals.  I want you to feel empowered to choose what you want to eat and feel confident that the results and lifestyle are maintainable.  Whether it's a customized plan with your specific targets, or following my intuitive eating guidelines, I guide you through my structured programs with three main pillars; Knowledge, Application, Mindset.

2. What has been your biggest win as an entrepreneur thus far? 

Growing my business to a point where I was able to leave my AVP role in Corporate Finance in just a little over a year.


3. Where do you find daily motivation and inspiration? 

I am a big visual person (I believe I think in pictures, not words), so I visualize what my goals look like (this may happen in my morning routine too, see below!).  That could mean a client messaging me about how happy they are with their results, or that new outfit / adventure my bank acct can send me on, or get inspiration from others on IG / pinterest for what's possible!  Visualizing it actually happening gives me feelings of excitement and ideas which gets me very motivated!

4. What is the best piece of advice you have received and who was it from? 

Decide the life you want, and be relentlessness in the pursuit of getting it!  

This was a realization I had after working with a Life and Business Coach, Lindsay Mango, reading the book You are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero, and reading the book Shoe Dog by Phil Knight. 

5. What is your morning routine?

As soon as I open my eyes while still in bed I list out 3 things I am grateful for and REALLY think about them and how they make me feel (I try not to just say things that are around me like my boyfriend and my bed every morning lol #ilovelamp)  This sets how I initially feel for the day!  Then, before I look at my phone, I take my mat outside (I LOVE my backyard), and sit and meditate and lightly stretch and breathe!  I do different mindset work, diving into how I'm feeling and how I want to feel.  This puts me in the bad ass boss babe mood I want to be in. This sounds like a lot, but it's all done in about 7mins.

6. Favorite podcast? 

LionHeart Radio, the Morning Coffee segment.  They are short 15min clips giving you a different perspective on life, more conceptual and less tactical.  He is also an entrepreneur, adventurer, active lifestyle, athlete, so I can relate to his stories.

7. Something that most people wouldn’t know about you:

I grew up on 75 acres and raced dirt bikes for 12 years!  I would race every Sunday morning all over Virginia and then my mom would drive me X hours back to town for Cheer practice.  I went on to cheer competitively at Louisville!

8. If you could go back to when you started your company what would you say to yourself? 

"You are exactly where you're supposed to be."  I am such a futuristic thinker and goal setter that I want to get "there" and get there fast!  Stop and enjoy / be proud of where you are, it serves you more than you think!
