1. What is the name of your business and can you tell us a little bit more about it?

ASR Design Studio

ASR Design Studio is a full service Interior Design Firm offering services for Residential, Commercial, and Online Design for the DIY'er.  We create Real Spaces for Real Life.  We know life gets crazy, kids and pets take over your home and it hard to keep everything neat and tidy.  We help our clients get organized, optimize their storage solutions, and design a layout that works best for their families while providing solutions that are easy to care for and affordable.

I am also the founder of VIDA, which is a Virtual Interior Design Assistant.  We help small design firms around the united states with the behind the scenes technical skills so that they are able to focus on their clients.

2. What has been your biggest win as an entrepreneur thus far?

Having a spouse who believes in your dreams and cheers you on from the sidelines has had the most significant impact on me during the rough times.

3. Where do you find daily motivation and inspiration?

Mainly from lots of coffee, LOL.  I have a passion for creating spaces and helping to improve people's daily lives whether its in their home or their office.  As a newbie to the San Diego Area, I love being so close to the ocean and having the sun beam down us everyday.

4. What is the best piece of advice you have received and who was it from?

Makes lots of mistakes, it is the only way to learn and grow.  Just make sure you are learning from them and not repeating them.  - Dad

5. What is your morning routine?

Every morning I make coffee and eggs to get my day jump started.  I then make a list of the most important items that need to be tackled, check/respond to emails for an hour before heading out to work out.

6. What is your favorite podcast?

A well designed business

7. Something that most people wouldn’t know about you:

My favorite drink is a good old fashion (Sometimes I embody an old man)

8. If you could go back to when you started your company what would you say to yourself?

Having a good set of procedures set in stone and time management skills are imperative to your success
